Its refreshing, cheap and easy. Great combo in my book!!
Peppery Chicken Pitas
3 boneless skinless Chicken Breasts
1/4 c. teriyaki sauce (Yoshidas Gourmet is amazing)
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp black bepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
Slice up chicken and pour teriyaki sauce over it to marinade for 2 hours (I have forgotten before and let it set in there a few minutes, makes no difference!) Remove chicken from marinade and toss with seasonings. Heat oil in pan and cook chicken.
Warm Pita Bread and put a little mayo, add chicken and put lettuce on top, fold and enjoy! Its so good. Serve with some cut up fruit and veggies!
